Hair Care Guide – ELLVORALUXE Human Hair Extensions

How to Care for Your Human Hair Extensions

At ELLVORALUXE, we use 100% premium human hair designed for long-lasting beauty. With proper care, your extensions can last 1–2 years while maintaining softness, shine, and natural movement.

Follow these simple steps to keep your hair looking flawless.

Washing Instructions

• Wash your extensions 1–2 times per week
• Use a sulfate-free, moisturizing shampoo
• Gently massage — do not rub or twist
• Rinse with lukewarm water (avoid hot water)

Always wash in a downward motion to prevent tangling.

Conditioning

• Apply a lightweight moisturizing conditioner
• Avoid applying conditioner directly on the weft
• Leave for 5–10 minutes
• Rinse thoroughly

Deep condition once every 2–3 weeks for extra hydration.

Drying

• Gently pat dry with a soft towel
• Do not rub aggressively
• Air dry for best results
• If using a blow dryer, use low heat

Air drying helps maintain texture patterns like Body Wave, Ocean Wave, and Kinky Curly.

Styling Tips

• Always use heat protectant before styling
• Avoid excessive heat (keep below 180°C / 350°F)
• Use wide-tooth comb or paddle brush
• For curly textures, use fingers or wide comb while damp

Limit daily heat styling to maintain longevity.

Night Care

• Tie hair loosely in a braid or ponytail
• Use a silk or satin scarf
• Sleep on a satin pillowcase

This prevents friction and tangling.

Storage

If not in use:

• Store in a silk/satin bag
• Keep in a cool, dry place
• Avoid direct sunlight

Proper storage preserves softness and texture.

⚠️ Important Tips

• Avoid swimming in chlorinated or salt water
• Do not use alcohol-based products
• Avoid heavy oils near the weft
• Brush gently from ends to roots

Our Promise

Why Does Hair Shed Slightly?

Minimal shedding is normal with any human hair extension. Excessive shedding can occur due to rough brushing, improper washing, or cutting the weft.
